HOW YOU CAN HELP TO CREATE THE MUSEUM | Without its supporters, the Latin Art Museum of Amersfoort will just be a building with beautiful art inside rather than the living, breathing cultural exchange its destined to be. With help from friends like you, the LAKMA will play a vital role in the artistic life of the Netherlands, providing an environment that inspires active, life-long connection to the arts. There are a number of ways to get involved and make the Latin American Art Museum of Amersfoort your museum; so please, take the time to see how you can become a part of the project. Initiating the first Latin American Art Museum of Europe in The Netherlands brings positive advantages for the LAKMA as well as interesting challenges, many of our processes and strategies have to be pioneered and created this is why we greatly depend on the advice and guidance from our members as well as the broad range of experts from our community.
As this is the period of creation and development of the Museum, the role of the Advisory Board becomes even more important. We are in the process of enhancing our current boards and committees, as well as forming several new ones to assist us in our work.
Directors board: The LAKMA has a great responsibility towards the community and stakeholders; as the gateway to Latin American art and culture we have a direct Impact on tourism, corporate business and other mediations amongst Latin America and the Netherlands. Advisory Board: Professionals in the field of business such as marketing, finance, corporate law and so on; as well as those in creative and development branches such as architecture, engineering and design are the back bone of any organization; besides the architecture for the new facility, the lakma is seeking to develop a strong marketing and business plan as well as a strategy that will add value to the community and the art industry along with achieving long term sustainability.
